Vector stencils that look like spray paint … is that possible?
I think it is, although not if you want to do anything else with your computer for the next few hours. Before CS4, I turned a few of my close friends on to a method I called “my secret weapon.” It’s a radical way to turn artwork from rastor into vector. This illustration used halftones. It has a mirrored image of the logo and paint drips that I had photographed from my brother’s apartment. It looks like a real stencil using the minimum colors requested. Now it’s on a Gold-selling DVD (10,000 copies) for Warner Bros. Records.
