Need to stand out from the crowd? Game on. Cillie Puddie Clothing was looking for an utterly original vibe—so I browsed through old sketchbooks and picked out some favorite elements to help develop their clothing designs. I then twisted them together to create a brand new look and applied it to this now best-selling line.
Best on my toes. The Acting Center needed fresh brand imagery. Given ten-plus hours over three days, Aaron Petz shot more than a hundred actors and snapped more than 10,000 images. It was challenging to capture the characters without losing the character, but we ended up with a strong photographic base.
Sticking out in a crowd. Sony hired me to help develop their Sony Value Pass, later to be called the Sony Music Pass. I worked on the concept for the placement, and put in hours of layout and production work. Working with Sony really gave me a leg up in the music / technology industry and I’m happy to share all I learned.
Yeah, I’m a sneaker freak too. High Point came to me to pull together a last-minute winter campaign. One mandate: they wanted “out of the (shoe) box” style. I created a photo kaleidoscope of their sneakers and then made them look like snowflakes. In Scottsdale people embrace holiday themes, so anything snow related really pops off the page. Of course, one hundred different snowflakes made out of sneakers for the store installation also does the trick.
